A Plough Shear Mixer is a high-intensity, horizontal mixer consisting of a cylindrical drum with a central shaft fitted with plough-shaped mixing elements. These ploughs lift, divide, and mix the material in a three-dimensional (turbulent) motion.

Often equipped with high-speed choppers, it can break agglomerates and ensure uniform mixing in very short time.

• Mixing Chamber → Horizontal cylindrical shell with rounded ends.

• Main Shaft → Heavy-duty shaft with welded ploughs placed in a specific pattern.

• Ploughs → Specially designed to throw material upward and outward (fluidized mixing zone).

• Choppers (Optional) → High-speed side-mounted blades to break lumps.

• Drive System → Geared motor + gearbox, VFD optional.

• Discharge Valve → Pneumatic slide/flush type at bottom center.

• Material of Construction (MOC) → SS304 / SS316 for food & pharma, MS/Alloy steel for chemicals.

A Roaster cum Blender is a jacketed horizontal blender (generally Ribbon or Paddle type) designed to perform roasting (heating/drying) and mixing/blending of powders, granules, or semi-moist materials in the same unit.

It uses a heating medium specifically thermic oil along with the electric heaters through the jacket to roast or dry the material while the blender agitator ensures uniform mixing and prevents burning or sticking.

A Live Storage Silo is a vertical or horizontal storage vessel designed to hold bulk powders or granules and ensure a smooth, controlled discharge into the downstream process (like mixers, feeders, packaging lines).

Unlike a normal silo, a live silo is equipped with aeration systems, discharge aids, or mechanical extractors to prevent bridging, rat-holing, or flow stoppage — hence ensuring that the stored powder is always “live” and available for transfer.

• Top Section: Inlet pipe from bulker/unloader + vent filter + manhole.

• Bottom Section: Equipped with discharge Screw Feeder, butterfly valve, or pneumatic conveying line.

• Support: Skirt or leg supports, designed as per IS/ASME standards.

An Octagonal Blender is a low-speed, gentle blending machine designed for uniform mixing.
The octagonal shape ensures multi-dimensional tumbling action, improving homogeneity while minimizing particle degradation — ideal for sensitive and crystalline materials.

• Shape: Octagonal (8-sided) blending chamber.
• Material of Construction (MOC): SS304 / SS316 / SS316L (GMP design).
• Drive Unit: Motor with reduction gearbox or belt drive.
• Speed: Typically 12–20 RPM.
• Charging: Through a butterfly valve or detachable lid.
• Discharging: Through a butterfly or pneumatically actuated valve.
